Every match is an intense multiplayer showdown pitting a diverse cast of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities against each other in an epic, globe-spanning conflict. In Hammond's reveal, the Junker Queen poster has been fully revealed in the background. It appears that she has blue hair with a reddish streak of warpaint across her eyes. From the looks of her, I'd say she can't be a tank, or a support, and is most likely to be a damage character. She can totally be a tank though. We alreay have Zarya who is midrange brawler with slimmer body than most other tanks, so its not too crazy to assume that JQ is an offtank too.
Overwatch devs explain why Roadhog, D.Va, Zarya are becoming main tanks

But at the moment, we know so little about how she would actually function in the game. She has a gigantic polearm-like axe and the muscles to wield it. It would only make sense for her to fight with that, as opposed to some kind of barrier or healing item.

The Junker Queen also known as "the Queen of Junkertown" or simply "the Queen" [1] is the cutthroat leader of the Junkers. She is based in Junkertown. The Queen was originally a fighter and champion [4] in the Scrapyard. A charismatic and skilled fighter, she became the town's ruler as a result of her prowess as a mech combatant. One of the town's Junkers named Junkrat blabbed on and on about a 'treasure' he had found in the ruins of the Australian omnium. She came to suspect that his claims might have some truth in them, and she sent some of her enforcers to wring the truth out of him. Unfortunately, the enforcers were incapacitated by another Junker named Roadhog , who became Junkrat's partner in crime. The pair were exiled as a result [6] and she gave orders for them to not be re-admitted to Junkertown, and if they were seen again, to shoot them on sight. As of April , Arnold Tsang has produced several pieces of concept art for the Junker Queen, and according to Jeff Kaplan , the team has "big plans" for her, though the plans are on more of a long-term timeframe.
After the big Overwatch 2 announcement from BlizzCon , some players are wondering if or how the Junker Queen will fit into the new content. The Junker Queen is definitely a fan-favorite character, but she never actually makes a direct appearance in the game or its cinematics. She is referenced in Wrecking Ball's origin story and one of his sprays, as well as being the voice that welcomes you to Junkertown just after the first payload point. Despite existing almost entirely in the game's background, there are a lot of Junker Queen stans out there who would like to see her join the cast of heroes. Jeff Kaplan and the Overwatch team did assure fans that there were a lot of new heroes coming to the game in the future, they didn't go as far as to mention Junker Queen specifically. But, Kaplan did say that PvE story and hero missions in Overwatch 2 would include backstory and lore on heroes. Again, no direct mention of the Junker Queen, but if Wrecking Ball gets his own mission, it's not that hard to envision her popping up there. Even though the status of Junker Queen remains in limbo, BlizzCon did fill us in on some other upcoming new Overwatch heroes. Overwatch Director Jeff Kaplan confirmed that Sojourn would be a new hero coming to the game , but didn't say anything on when it would happen.
